EVA integrates the standard pump experience – touch pad, simple prompts, secure payments, retail POS integration and receipt printing – with contemporary mobile platforms – smartphones, connected cars, NFC & RFID – to offer a transaction platform for usage-based-insurance (at a fraction of the cost of on-vehicle telematics), easy DMV transactions and even parking ticket payment. Each year in the U.S. there are over 15 billion refueling transactions. Until now, the pump has simply dispensed gas and maybe promoted a car wash coupon or sale on store items.
