TravelStarter is a global crowdfunding platform for innovative travel and business projects. It is an incubator for all the projects that are connected with local tourism and communities: accommodation facilities, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, bars, tourist shops, web sites, mobile apps, transportation. First, we enable everyday travelers to support local projects at their next destination and get travel perks in return, second, we allow TravelMakers/local businesses who want to fulfill their goals to get funding for their projects by offering services to visitors in their home country. We present users with travel encounters they can experience at their chosen destination and all the money raised by the rewards goes directly to the project in the background. It is a crowdfunding platform with travel rewards that are carefully integrated into a smart booking engine. We will start by recruiting project from major cities in central Europe and target travelers in North America.
