We do this because: • Many of the 4,500 schools in the U.S. are mandated to have sustainable campuses. • 80% of a school’s carbon footprint comes from student & faculty behavior. • Most external companies pitch operational solutions (solar panels, etc.) to schools and ignore behavior. • University faculty who are charged with sustainability typically have a facilities or environmental science background. Neither of which are usually successful at motivating students.
