We are building Elance for main street business owners. GainStreet.co is the place businesses come for help. That help can be from owners of similar businesses, from mentors who have made successful exits, from consultants whose expertise focuses on this important segment of our country's engine. Main Street businesses have been somewhat neglected amidst the revolution in social networking. We aim to correct that. The "Elance"-aspect will be the first phase of a platform that will develop ultimately into a small-business equity-marketplace: encompassing networking-interactions between businesses; hiring and validation of interested consultant-professionals; data-repository/vault of secured information's facilitating valuation-moments for bankers' and brokers' interactions; and lead-generation for any party interested in the small-business sphere.
