We have developed a system for creating data-driven iOS applications. This system replaces tons of potentially buggy glue code in a typical application. Parse is a system with similar goals. However, we play nicely with existing databases, provide robust offline data support, allow the use of conventional SQL syntax, and provide robust, customizable, data-driven UI widgets. We developed this system for our own use, and already have it implemented into several of our projects for clients.
