Embera is developing a patent-pending drug combination, EMB-001, that addresses significant unmet needs in smoking cessation and cocaine dependence. Embera is advancing its lead product for smoking cessation (a $1.9B worldwide market), based on positive results of animal studies where EMB-001 compared very favorably to Chantix®, Pfizer’s $670M smoking cessation drug. Embera is also developing the cocaine dependence indication for EMB-001 via a $3.9M NIH grant.
