ClothesPin

ClothesPin is an apparel ratings, reviews, and suggestions website currently in early development. It allows users to search, rate, and review fashion products. Rather than browsing through irrelevant and biased reviews found on large retail websites (such as Amazon), users fill out a "fashion profile" similar to that of a dating website. Using machine learning tools, ClothesPin is able to develop a picture of a user's style and tastes, then suggest items for them. As a user uses the website further, he/she may answer questions and rate items they have purchased, and thus receive better search results, with better matches. ClothesPin uses a qualified leads advertising model to generate revenue. Retailers may sponsor products and boost their search results.
