CitySprout connects communities of people to their local food by creating ‘delivery locations’ at large corporate campuses, residential neighborhoods, and community centers. Consumers visiting citysprout.com are invited to enter a physical address and then receive suggestions of nearby delivery locations they can ‘subscribe’ to. When an area food producer posts an offer to a given delivery location, everyone subscribed to that location is notified of the offer via email. We are reinventing the $11B local food economy, empowering local farmers to compete in the industrial food era, and connecting consumers to affordable, healthy local goods. There are approximately 2M small, privately owned local farms and food producers in the US.
