CastleOS

CastleOS is an integrated home automation and energy management suite designed to bring advanced automation and energy intelligence capabilities to homes using inexpensive standards-based technologies, rather than the expensive proprietary technologies the high-end home automation market is built on. CastleOS is especially focused in three areas we believe to be currently lacking in the industry: true ease of use for the average homeowner, energy use tracking and management, and usable voice control. What makes CastleOS unique? First and foremost, we designed the software around the common homeowner, not techies. This is a system our parents and grandparents can use. It may sound obvious, but this is an industry that has been dominated by DIYers. Now the industry is going mainstream, and many companies are unprepared to transition. Unlike our competitors, professional installation of our system is not required, and the user can carry out changes to the programming post install easily.
