Canary (boston.gocanary.com) is a local online marketplace for people to buy and sell their furniture and other household items. Our vision is to create a service that makes selling your sofa as easy as selling a video game or book on Amazon. We have been operating in Boston for 3+ years and our business is on the verge of an exciting new phase of growth in Boston and beyond. As part of our business model, a portion of our profits is donated to local charities. Since we do not take ownership of your item like consignment, there is no risk to sell with us. We have created an infrastructure that assists buyers and sellers through the process, while handling most of the heavy lifting that goes into furniture transactions.
