Our first product, the R-LAD, will be used at hospitals and clinics, and it will enable just one Physical Therapists to take their stroke patients for a walk. The exoskeleton-like Robotic Leg Advancement Device rides atop a medical-grade walker and drives the patient's weaker limb - this task currently may require up to 2-3 PTs working together. At target $15,000 MSRP, the R-LAD cost will be only 25% of the next most affordable product intended for a similar use, and it will enhance the usefulness of the equipment which the target customers already have.
