Largely due to human error, collisions occur between airport ground vehicles (baggage loaders, catering trucks etc) and aircraft. While damage from these incidents is costly to repair, the indirect factors (delays, injuries, lost goodwill) make these collisions very expensive. Airlines lose $10 Billion each year. We hold two patents for our sensor systems that detects these collisions and reduces incidents.
